An Enormous Crime: The Definitive Account of American POW's Abandoned in Southeast Asia
Customer Rating:
As a disabled american veteran of the VietNam era I am shocked and deeply disturbed that our (United States) Government left our brave military servicemembers, who were taken prisoners of war during the VietNam conflict, in captivity.
We must actively seek the immediate return of any of our POW's who are, hopefully, still living as POW's in Southeast Asia.
This must be a top priority. We have neglected this issue far too long. Shame on all who have allowed this terrible and shameful situation unresolved. God have mercy on all of our POW's who have been abandoned by our country.
An Enormous Crime indeed!

This book is an eye opener on the POW/MIA issue. Being born before the war, I didn't know too much on the POW/MIA issue. I just thought everyone wore the shirts, or posted the flags just to remind everyone how bad it must have been for those who were captured in Vietnam (and released or rescued). I now see that there is more to it. This book is an inside source of information and intelligence, on the Presidential, Senatorial, and Congressional level, of how our troops were left behind, and how any efforts made to reclaim our now forgotten POWs, were hindered. It's a great read if you like conspiracy or politics. It's not an action book, by no means. But if you have any interest in the Vietnam War, or any books on war, get this book.
Better than Jensen-Stevenson's Kiss The Boys Goodbye! Not that that book is bad either
Customer Rating:
Bo Gritz books are the definitive accounting on what ails the body-politic here in the US. But the book s like this, Stan Krasnoff's and Monika Jensen-Stevenson's are classics to a large degree also. Pick Up On This One!
This book will break your heart......

This book is the most interesting, and horrifying I have ever read. I have a whole new outlook on our goverment and leaders of our country. It is a must read and a book you MUST share with others. Something needs to be done about this horrible crime. You will come away from this book wanting to do something to make this otrocious act right....With God's grace, if enough of us read it, we can do something to get this ordeal brought back to the forefront of our daily lives and bring these courageous, War Heros home!
I read the other reviews and now have something else to add. I am 43 and was very young when the Vietnam war was going on. I have always been a Vietnam Vet supporter. I love Vietnam Vets. Bless all of you who served, you are true American Heros in my book! There are no others like you........

I joined the service in 1978, I recieved my discharge as a Major in the USAR in 2004, I know many truths of the POW issue. This is a book of truths. For myself I feel shame and guilt that I could not have done more in my career to bring my knowledge of these truths to the attention of the world.
