It was ok, the description said the book was 'like new' but there was moderate damage to the cover. It also said that 'there was only a little writing on a few pages' when in reality it looks like a 5 year old got a hold of a highlighter and went to town. It was well priced though, I got what I paid for and possibly even better than I paid for.

Luis, When you comment a book, your not supposed to write about your own personal problems. Your supposed to write about the book. Truthfully I dont care that you got slow shipment... you take that risk when you order from an independent seller. You didnt buy straight from Amazon or from your school, so stop complaining. Ive had many things shipped slow, but thats a risk I take to get a cheaper price. Keep your personal comments to yourself. On a side note, this book was really easy to understand and had great exams for each type of problem! I hate Chemistry but I lucked out with a good teacher and a good book! Good luck to all!!!

I bought a book the foundations of chemistry, and it stated on the website that it would be shipped in 1-2 business days, and I am still waiting for my book. This order was placed on 8/21/07, and I just received an email on Friday from A-1 books stating I would receive the book between 8/29/07-9/12/07. This is a crock of nonsense, and it was very misleading advertisement. The money came out immediately from my account, and I want my money back. I am outraged by this inconvenience. I would rather pay an extra 60.00 dollars and buy it directly from my college. I will report this to the BBB.
